Hello,
I want to analyse the effect of several independent variables on the democratization process of almost every country in the world. At the same time I have 30 years for every country.
1) Is there a possibility to do a fixed effects regression with my imputed datasets with Clarify (xtreg) or do I have to use Zelig?
2) If I have to use Zelig - what do I have to do or where can I find Information?
3) After this regression I want to use the synthetic control method. I donŽt think that I can use the Imputed data sets for this. Is there a way to put the imputed datasets together in one dataset?
Can anyone help me figure out a way to get around this problems?
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
Sincerely,
Laeticia Klein

Hello
How (if at all) can we create a single covariance matrix by combining
the m imputed data sets?
Many thanks in advance

Hello,
I have 10 datasets generated with mi/Amelia II. If I want to report the
R-sq, is it OK to run the regressions separately on each of the datasets and
then average the R-squared?
Thanks so much.

Hi
I've had a lot of problems with the software repeatedly crashing or not being able to find 'R.' I've managed to sort this, but now I'm having problems with Step 3 - Output. It seems a daft problem but when I open up AmeliaView there is no 'Run Amelia' button or 'Diagnostics' button. I've maximised the window but can only get the following:
Output Data Format
Name the Imputed Dataset
Number of Imputed Datasets
Seed (not quite sure what this is)
I've also tried the 'page down' key and the 'down arrow' key, but have had no luck. I've looked through the PDF but I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. Does anyone know what I need to do?
Thanks
