That was another bug indeed. We are updating SSC, but the correct version of cem.ado can be found here:

Thanks for the quick reply!

The cem.ado file you linked to works, but the cem output now no longer
shows the distance/imbalance calculations. Output stops after the
matching table. Is this intended? How can I see the imbalance values
with the new cem version?
