Hi All,

        We often find that treating meaningful binary variables (e.g gender) as continuous variable (autocuts Sturges) will result better balance in demographic table 1 in terms of standardized differences (of course less sample size, usually not much loss for treatment arm). Should we use the Sturges autocuts rather than more meaningful binary variables?
