Hello,
I am a visiting faculty member in the Government Department at
Harvard (and full-time at BU), and I'm in the market for a good
research assistant for a new project on the politics of public health
with colleagues at BU (John Gerring in Poli Sci and Bill Macleod in
Public Health) and Harvard (Ken Hill, demographer). I send this to
you in case someone in your group might be interested in the
position. Here is the basic job description:
$20/hour, flexible hours, approximately 10-20 hours/week. Duties include
maintaining Stata database, running regressions, creating data tables, and
consulting on econometrics, where needed. An interest in political
science, public health, and international development a plus (though not
necessary). Experience with time-series-cross-national (TSCS) data
analysis and Stata software also a plus.
If you're interested, please contact me directly.
