This plots a blank grid and then puts two lines on it.
One with a slope
of 1, and one with a slope of y=1. Not sure if this is exactly what
you're asking, but good luck.
x<-rnorm(100) #this can be whatever
plot(x ,xlim=c(1,10), ylim=c(0,10), type="n")
abline(1,1)
par(new=F)
abline(1,0)

Does anyone know a graphics program (accessible
on campus or
otherwise free) that will allow me to draw a simple plot of an
axis with a couple of lines on it? That will save as a .eps

the quality is really poor...like my text is all fuzzy. Any
other suggestions?
Thanks, Olivia.
