Hi all,
?
We have posted the first, or rather the 0th problem set, on the course
website.? This problem set will not be graded and is not for credit.? You
should use it to gauge your proficiency in R and take this opportunity to
fill in gaps in your R abilities before the graded problem sets start (next
week).
?
We will post solutions to this problem set on the website next Thursday.?
There is no need to formally write up solutions to this problem set, but
develop the habit now of heavily commenting your R code.? Submit a text file
of your R code to the homework dropbox on the website by 5pm next Thursday
(the 14th).?
?
A full description of the policy for graded homework in?gov 2001 is posted
under the Problem Sets link.? Read the full document, but the Cliff's Notes
version is:
?
Collaboration is encouraged, but writeups must be completed individually.?
Problem sets will be assigned in section and posted to the website on
Thursday evenings. Problem sets are due the following Thursdays by 5pm.
Write up solutions to your problem set, preferably in a program like Latex,
and bring a hard copy to section.
Comment your R code in a text file?and submit an electronic copy of the file
to the course website 'homework dropbox', also by the following Thursdays by
5pm.
Under NO circumstances will we accept late homework.
?
Happy problemsetting,
?
Jenn
