ice.fas.harvard.edu is not the same as
nice.fas.harvard.edu. For one thing,
wget isn't installed properly on ice. You need to get to ice1, ice2, ice3,
or ice4 -- or nice, which selects the least busy iceX server.
You need to create a new SecureCRT session by clicking on the lightning bolt
symbol and select ssh2, then
nice.fas.harvard.edu. Then try wget again.

Subject: [gov2001-l] ICE problems
Hello all,
I'm still having trouble setting up my VNC session on my desktop.
First, from secure CRT, I only have an option to log in to
"ice.harvard.edu," no option to log into "nice.harvard.edu." Are they
the
same thing?
Second, when I log in under
ice.harvard.edu, it does not tell me which
server I'm connected to.
Third, When I type the wget line at the prompt, it gives me various error
messages (depending on whether I cut and paste from the PDF online or type
it in directly).
Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Alex
