Did you remember to run the
wget ....
command? And source your .cshrc file as that script instructs at the end?

Thanks for all you help in the session. However, I still have problem
setting up
my computer correctly. I opened the XEmacs but I couldn't open R in XEmacs
even
though I follow the "Esc-X and R" instruction. I guess since I am in the
Unix
system, it has nothing to do with the R software on my computer. What
shall I
do? I would be great if you had gone through the whole process step by
step in
session especially for those (like me) who never heard of the thing
before.
