Hi Andy,
it is not surprising that you get better balance when using replace=T,
although I'm not sure why balance would improve because of the
bias-adjustment. It essentially deals parametrically with bias *remaining*
after the matching, so that's probably have a good idea to have.
Alternatively, you can fit any parametric model of your choice, as Gary
discussed in class.

Hi,
Running match using biasadjustment=T and replace=T, I get better balance
than when running MatchIt using "nearest". Are there other parameters for
MatchIt that can improve the balance in a similar fashion to Match with
its
biasadjust and replace?
