Jeremy,
In R, if you type .libPaths(), it may give you the following:
[1] "/Users/JeremyH/Library/R/2.6/library"
[2] "/Library/Frameworks/R.framework/Versions/2.6/Resources/library"
the packages may be saved in these two different places. What I did was
to move everything to [2], at least this was how I was advised to do.
You can also use installed.packages() to check where those packages
are. hope this can help.

I'm still having difficulty
installing Zelig. I followed the
instructions for macs in the book (p15) and it downloads various
files that look to be in the order outlined in the book, but I get
various error messages as it's going through, then ends saying
there's no package called Zelig. I've pasted the error messages in
below. Any advice on what I'm doing wrong?
Jeremy

The
version on CRAN with the link in the users manual is out of
date. Install
the package directly from Gary's website using:
install.packages("Zelig", repos = "http://gking.harvard.edu")
Happy tinkering.
