non-conformable arguments
Suggests that some of matrices you are trying to multiply are not
conformable. Recall from the matrix algebra review that you can only
multiply two matrices A and B iff A (l x k) and B (k x p). So check the
matrices, at least one of them has the wrong dimensions. Also notice that
both objects need to be matrices.

Subject: Re: [gov2001-l] Last minute question
I was calculating sigmahat^2 in the following way:
ssq <- ((t(u)%*%u)/length(y)/3)%*%xtx^-1
That was going okay when I tried it with my made-up data. But with
the dataset I get this error:
Error in ((t(u) %*% u)/length(y)/3) %*% xtx^-1 :
Why might that happen?
