Dear Dr. King,
I'm hoping you can provide some information re: the imputation of
dichotomous variables with AMELIA. I'm wondering about how problematic
it is to use the "ANOMS" command with dichotomous variables. I have two
situations in particular about which I'm curious. In the first dataset,
I have too many dichotomous variables to be accommodated in the "AMORDS"
command, and have thus, used the "ANOMS" command for the remaining
variables. In the second dataset, I have found that when using the
"ANOMS" command in greater proportion for imputing numerous dichotomous
variables, AMELIA successfully imputes five datasets rather than ending
abruptly in the final phase of the program (i.e. just prior to imputing
the 5 datasets).
I would be most grateful for any information you can share on this
topic.
Thank you,
Malitta Engstrom
