Hi Nicole,
I'm afraid I'm not sure of a way in R to preserve state in the middle of a
function call. You might want to try and increase the ridge prior ("empri"
argument) in order to speed up convergence.
Cheers,
Matt

Is there a way Amelia could resume the imputation
after being disrupted,
e.g. when you run a job on a cluster and you have a 12 hours maximum for
each job. I'm wondering if I could save the current imputation and resume
from the last saved state?
Thank you!
