Hello Alexander,
There hasn't been any development of Amelia in Vista quite yet. As you
have found, the Windows launcher is probably the most likely place to
break. While I haven't had a copy of Vista to play around with, I
imagine the following might work better. Open up R and type:
library(Amelia)
AmeliaView()
That will bring up the same GUI that the launcher opens. Like I said,
I'm not totally confident this will work, but I think it should.
hope that helps,
matt.

Hi all,
I have problems getting amelia started. I installed as described. After
clicking the Amelia.bat the following error occurred: "system cannot find…
c:\program files\ameliaview\lib\invisible.vbs"
I checked that the file is in the folder. This is on a pc on which vista 32
is installed.
To check I installed the Amelia software also on a PC which is running
windows 2000. this time no problem.
I would be thankful if somebody could advice me how to run the program on
the pc with vista.
Thanks
Alexander
