Hello Bill,
That is strange. A couple of things come to mind. First, are you running
this in Windows or Linux? Second, are there any strange characters or
spaces in the path to the file? I would try to put the data file into a
directory that is closest to the root (eg "C:/workland/mydata.csv") so
that R has an easy time importing it.
I hope that helps and please let us know if you are able to resolve it and
what seemed to do the trick.
Thanks,
matt.

Hi,
When I try to load a .csv file (from my R working directory) into Amelia
using Amelia View (launched from R), I get a message in R that says:
Error in setwd(dir) : cannot change working directory
Any ideas why this might be happening?
Thanks,
Bill
