I'm pretty sure you want $distance. The HW code in that section was using
glm() to get the propensity scores, rather than through MatchIt - that is
why propens isn't there.
I haven't seen anything other than $distance in the matchit output,
thought it's possible something like propscore is hiding somewhere.
