although it shouldn't matter in how you're using it, miss is a Gauss
reserved word and so you might change that.
your gauss.cfg file is using the old version of gauss files, which has 2
files for each data set. the dht is the header file. i'd switch it to
the new one if your version of gauss allows it (or you might update
gauss). but either way, you should be able to get this to work by
matching the kind of data file you have in your default directory with
what the cfg file expects.
